This ITN will hire 12 doctoral candidates and provides them with high-quality training in cutting-edge research projects with an exceptional set of transferable skills and opportunity to work with recognized research/academic institutes and companies in the field. Our aim is to educate a cohort of next generation of scientists with creative and entrepreneurial mindset both for academic and non-academic careers, prepared for solving challenges of modern society.
The scientific projects deal with analysing, modelling and forecasting solar activity, conditions in the coronal and heliosphere, and space weather at Earth. The students use state-of-the-art research methodologies, such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and develop and validate advanced new tools and models.
Frequent network wide activities allow students develop their research skills in an international environment and interact with other young scientists.
