Project 12, Recruitment

Project description: The project creates versatile algorithms based on mathematical morphological transforms to characterize the solar activity using a large solar database of Coimbra. Most current tools are mission specific, but the aim here is to develop tools that can deal with any type of solar image that allows reaching new advances in automatic recognition and tracking.
